Angela van Tijn Sweet Iced Tea

This delicious and creamy twist on classic iced tea is sure to be popular with the whole family.  The honey provides a much healthier option to sugar as a natural sweetener and the delicious coconut milk is packed with protein as well.

4 black or Orange Pekoe tea bags (decaf is ok)

4 cups (1 L) water

¾ cup (175 mL)  Billy Bee Honey 

1 can (400 mL) Thai Kitchen Premium Coconut Milk


Make the tea mix by boiling the water and pouring over the tea bags. Allow to steep for at least 10 minutes, up to 30 minutes.

Remove the tea bags and allow the tea mixture to cool to room temperature.

Fill half a pitcher with ice and pour the tea mixture over the ice. Add the honey and coconut milk, stir and enjoy.
